FARMER'S DAY

a holiday everywhere is a day of rest. Today is National Farmer's Day celebrated on the first Friday in  December. It is to recognize and pay respect that the contributions of farmers and fishers are making towards the socio-economic growth of Ghana. This country is only 62 years old and is still in the infancy stage of being developed. The infrastructure still leaves a lot to be desired but the efforts of all its people are geared to a democracy that is supportive of all of its people.
The growing season here produces plants that seem startlingly unreal, bamboo that is 20 to 30 feet tall and cactus that are in a 4 inch pot in Canada can be 4 feet high here Each part of the world has is beautiful vistas.
