Do they know where the garden of Gethsemane was? If so, is it like the picture at the top with the olive trees, a few flowers and hard ground?
ReplyDeleteThere is discussion about the Garden and we visited this grove at the Mount of Olives. The exact location of most sites are a guesstimate. A term I learned this time was that the sites are remembering places of events and have been venerated by millions of pilrims so I wonder if it really needs to be the REAL SITE. It is like one gets the idea of what it could have been like at the time of Jesus. to me it is like faith, not quite concrete but with faith it works, at least for me.
