Its the 25th, while some hurry to church, others unfold a regular Thursday, shopping, getting more credits on the phone, sewing class down lane with the machines humming, a mom followed by a set of twins, hoping to get her phone topped up, taxis zipping in and out, very few decorations, an absence of Christmas music.
My treat for me is mashed potatoes with butter (I found some at Melcom"s, ie WalMart). I plan to make a few potatoe dishes this week.
All and all, the manger baby reminds us yet again to be open as was Mary, Joseph, the shepherds and the Magi to let the Incarnate enter in.
The nativity scene is adorable. Doreen made a nice one I bought a couple years ago. Love it..
