PASSPORT IN MY HAND

I have had a journey and a half to renew my passport, I made an error at the beginning using a web site PASSPORTONLINE.CA don't use it as they are not reputable and lead you down a path to no where. The Canadian gov't is trying to shut them down so they say. anyway I got the new one today and hopefully getting my Ghana visa tomorrow at noon, then I will finish packing, I thought God and I had a discussion about holding off the snow until January 2 but with the temp -30c with the wind chill tomorrow and snow lining the streets, it is clear that I did not win the discussion. Maybe next time

went to the shipper today, not stripper

oh my goodness... stuff to the shipper = 4 barrels, 14 suitcases, 3 boxes and 3 pieces of 'ortho' equipment getting sent, every time I say to myself... don't gather so much but ..... the generosity of people creates a great load for the shipper. SO ... rent a van, get Tanya and Debbie to accompany me to get stuff organized and up to North York AND - still waiting for new passport, I used a "easy method' on line but started in August and I still do not have it and wonder if it will be to me in time SO here is hoping ...

getting ready for returning

I had surgery on my ankle in January, it is great with no pain now, just aches if I push it, so much better, stayed with my daughter Tanya who was the best sherpa, driving me everywhere while my ankle healed
I am an interim priest at St. Matthew on the Plains in Aldershot since last August as they search for their next rector, great people and were very encouraging after my surgery.
I am now thinking about organizing to return to Sunyani sometime in the next few months. I was sorting through stuff gathered at the cottage last week and the energy revs me up to get on my way.
Gifty was here for the month of June as she took out some time from visiting her son Joel in Virginia
Stay turned as I get ready!
